Creating a new folder

To create a new folder, follow these steps:

1. Select the browser or folder you wish to assign as the new folder’s parent by single clicking on it in the Folder/Browser Window Pane.

2. Perform one of the following actions:

On the Browsers menu, click Create folder
press CTRL-R
right-click in Folder/Browser Window Pane and choose Create folder from the popup menu.

3. Enter the description you wish to use for this new folder. Press Enter to create the folder, or Escape to cancel. After creating the folder you should proceed to set its properties as desired.

Note: Unlike browsers, folders are not assigned a matching user agent string and are never matched with a visiting browser by the BrowserHawk ActiveX component. Instead they serve to organize your defined browsers and set their default properties.

Tip: Set a folder’s properties to the values most likely suitable to the browsers you will create under it, as those browsers will inherit these property values when created.
